About Golden Valley

Golden valley is a first-ring suburb of Minneapolis and is located five miles west of downtown. Golden Valley prides itself on the number of outdoor activities available year-round.  The parks, trails and open spaces which include 47 miles of trails, the city owned golf courses, neighborhoods, excellent housing stock, flourishing business community, award-winning school districts, low crime rate, and proximity to downtown Minneapolis are just some of the things that attract Minnesotans to Golden Valley.
